I just love seeing a design go from the computer into a different medium. As is often the case with in-house projects, we used this as a chance to get the paint out and do something practical. I love how reductive and graphic this is, and as usual I love the subtle textures in the wood. One of the new things we tried with this was to make it at 24 frames per second, as opposed to 12 which we would usually do for a stop motion project. I love seeing the painted textures cycling through at this speed, and think the animation of the shapes is impressively smooth. Check out Bucks new montage.
